Nabekura Kogen Mori-no-Ie is holding a “Snowshoe Special Week”, during which you can rent and test ride the latest models from four Japanese snowshoe manufacturers for a period of approximately two weeks!

This event is recommended for those who have not yet experienced snowshoeing, as well as for those who are considering buying or replacing their snowshoes. You can rent snowshoes for as little as ¥500!

Guided snowshoe tours are also available on weekends during the festival. A variety of courses are planned, from short distance courses for beginners to full-day long courses.

Hours Reception 9:00 – 15:00 (returns by 16:30)
Fee (incl. tax) 500 yen/person
For upper primary schools students and older *Snowshoe rentals for children are available at Mori no Ie.
Application method First-come-first-served on the day *No advance reservations are accepted.
In case of rain Rental is possible regardless of weather conditions.
Other ・Rental time is limited to 3 hours and can be exchanged once for another pair of snowshoes.
Please come back to the reception desk if you wish to exchange snowshoes more than once.
