Iiyama Castle Ruins Park is a historic park located in Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture. It sits on the remains of Iiyama Castle, which was built by the famous warlord Uesugi Kenshin during the Sengoku period. Today, the park preserves reconstructed gates, earthen walls, and stone foundations, making it a popular spot in spring when beautiful cherry blossoms bloom.

Typically, the cherry blossoms at Iiyama Castle Ruins Park reach their peak from mid to late April. During this time, lanterns are set up, allowing visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night as part of the Iiyama Castle Cherry Blossom Festival.
