Try your hand at metalwork

Iiyama’s butsudan, handcrafted Buddhist shrines, are fitted with intricately worked copper and brass fittings.
Try your hand at metalwork through a hands-on workshop! Create a necklace of your own design, or use stamp-like chisels to decorate a bookmark. (Especially recommended for kids.)
Bookmarks take approximately an hour and a half to complete, while necklace construction requires about two and a half hours. Reservations should be made at least a day in advance.
Pieces from the studio are sold at both the Exhibition & Manufacturing Hall and the Museum of Traditional Industrial Arts.
