We are hosting an event where you can experience “Maki-e,” one of the essential techniques for the traditional craft of “Iiyama Butsudan” from Iiyama City. This is a valuable opportunity to learn traditional Maki-e techniques and create your own unique piece. Please feel free to join us!

No reservation is required, so please come at any time during the event hours. The experience takes about 1 hour.
Experience Process:
- Design
- Sketching
- Urushi Coating (Drying 10-15 minutes)
- Gold Powder Sprinkling (Drying 5-10 minutes)
Fees:
- Adults: ¥3,500 (tax included)
- Children: ¥2,000 (tax included)
